As a Java programmer you will join a team developing multi-tiered, fully scalable, reliable and secured software products built on top of Amazon’s AWS cloud platform. The central infrastructure within the MCL solution portfolio is responsible to manage the information regarding the operators and mobile devices which will communicate with the central system. This information is used to create statistics, trends and information required to maintain a production infrastructure. In addition the necessary backend interfaces must be created and maintained in order to provide the collected information and generated reports to third party backend systems.
You will be involved in the design, implementation and testing of the components of the central infrastructure ranging for a web-based user interfaces, the webservice interfaces to the backend systems and the database management.
Beyond your technical skills and your passion for producing top-notch code, part of your main assets are your curiosity, your pragmatic and agile approach to problem solving and your eagerness to learn and improve yourself.
Main technical skills:- 3 to 5 years of professional experience
- Highly motivated
- Excellent Java programmer
- Team player
- Knowledge of Spring and JSF
- Experience in developing web applications in a distributed architecture
- Experience with an ORM framework
Competences which bring an advantage to the job :- You are able to work in a team and have good communication skills
- You are fluent (spoken and written) in English and French and/or Dutch
- You are able to take correct decisions and make continuous progress to meet the deliverables
It would be a plus if you had:- Experience with Hibernate
- Knowledge of Angular JS
- Experience with web servers, Apache in particular
- Experience with following : Jenkins, Liquibase
