* Predictive Analytics * Modeling & Algorithm development * Belgium, Walloon Brabant area Hays is looking for a Data Analyst - Statistics & Predictive Modeling to join the Analytical team in a company specialized in the development of data models & innovative analysis tools based on advanced analysis techniques, providing consultancy services in parallel with its R&D activities. As a Data Analyst specialized in Predictive Analytics, you will be in charge of the development of new data models and analysis tools based on advanced analysis techniques. You will build new data sets and automate innovative analyses in R, Python and in the company's data analysis tools. In addition to your involvement in internal research and development (R&D) activities, you will also participate in analysis and consultancy projects in order to support company's customers. You hold a scientific master's or PhD degree and have a strong background in mathematics and algorithmics. You have the necessary skills to analyze problems and the capacity to conceptualize and make models out of elements. You master R & Python and you are able to develop an algorithm in a high-level programming language. You have a passion for innovations in data science and analytics (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.). You are knowledgeable in data storage systems and data management systems. A previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage. You are dynamic, curious, inventive and passionate about the technical aspects of various developments. You have excellent presentation skills and are fluent in Dutch and/or French. An intermediate to advanced level of English is required.
